Sustainability
Have Some Sun is a small scale solar developer, empowering local businesses and SMEs to generate their own energy, and achieve net-zero goals. We strive to be accountable, easy to work with, and care deeply about reducing carbon emissions - now and in the future.
Our pitch
Join the solar revolution

Solar is a simple, reliable, and flexible way to reduce costs and carbon emissions, which is why the technology is a popular one

Have Some Sun invest in putting solar panels on your building, which generate a sizeable amount of energy on-site, which is then consumed at a significantly lower than market rate cost

Opportunity
Untapped potential
In 2020, the solar industry supported 11,500 jobs across the country – and in March 2023, the industry installed solar panels at over 17,000 sites – around 800 each working day.

Solar Energy UK estimates that there is around 250,000 hectares of south-facing rooftop space in the UK, which means there is significant potential for commercial and industrial rooftop solar systems
Benefits

So, commit to carbon reduction
It’s easier than you think
Have Some Sun can provide a complete solar solution to businesses at no up front cost
Stage 1 – Feasibility

A feasibility study is the first step to understanding whether solar power is the right fit for your business.

  • Are you a high energy user?
  • Do you have spare roof space, or adjacent land?
  • Would you like to avoid up-front costs and the responsibility for operations & maintainence in return for an agreed power price?

Have Some Sun is looking for smaller businesses, [with a target installation size of 50-500kWp], so even if you think you might be too small, get in touch and we will discuss the best solution with you – or recommend a partner.

Stage 2 – Design & Installation

The design team will optimise the system for your project, model estimated carbon reductions, and once permits and permissions are approved, hand over to fully certified and insured installers to make sure the new assets are set up well for long life, with minimum disruption to your business.

Stage 3 – Power up & maintain

Enjoy the immediate reduction in monthly energy costs.

We’ll also commit to operations & maintainence for the life of the project, allowing you to continue running your business with the knowledge everything is taken care of.
